1) We have restricted the way FBOs may offer you discounts. Now FBOs are required to offer you cents off their listed fuel price. They can no longer send a message to you without a hard discount. Secondly, they may also include a free hangar and/or waive their fees. These messages still appear on the bottom toolbar and will still show on the bottom right portion of the Flight edit page. We also made the hard discounts of these offers show up in green in the FBO notes on the FBO Selection page. This way if an FBO offers you a discount you can see it right there when choosing an FBO. Their discount is automatically subtracted from their listed price and listed Jet-A discounts and will be marked in green.

2) We have updated the Flight/Crew calendar page to allow you to include text in the Crew section. Instead of choosing a color, click the 'T' icon. Type some text in the box, click done and start clicking on all the crew member's day boxes that you want to will with that text. An example would be "On Call 7am - 7pm"

3) The Flight Logs > Blk. Flight Log page has been updated with a new layout for those who have many aircraft. We also added a blank Flight Log Expenses page available as HTML or PDF

4) We replaced many of the buttons with a simpler design to give the system a more uniform style.

Last night we put live a couple updates related to the Mobile side of our website.

First, the login page now displays a more prominent link to the mobile login. Before you might have missed the small link. Now it is next to a large smartphone icon.

Next, Pilots and Flight Attendants have access to all the pages that Admin, Schedulers and Brokers do except for the two Quoting buttons. They can now see their mobile calendar which gives you an easy to read week view of trips. You can click a trip to go to its mobile tripsheet.

We have completed a new update that now links the pilots status from the crew calendar to the crew selection.  So this now means you will get an alert if you try to schedule a pilot  for a date that they are already scheduled off, training, or vacation. 

We have made some new updates to the Mobile Phone login and upgraded all of the areas.    We have added a new mobile weekly calendar and new menu also.    When you go to the login page you will see a Mobile Phone login link just below the main login.   Also keep in mind you can pin a icon on the start page of your phone.

As you know we closed off our open signup page some time ago, only permitting those who were recommended by our current members to join our aviation network. We did this so that we could focus on YOU, our current members, and not be distracted with the needs and training of so many new customers. During this time we got through a long list of updates you asked for, we tightened up the application and even rebuilt CharterMatrix.com to give you a place to market your empty legs, post trip requests and search for aircraft without paying the outrageous fees that you complained other marketing services have charged you.

For a long time we have kept our prices very low. Now our system is 10 times more powerful, more customizable, we have much more expensive servers and we've had to take on additional staff.

Now we need your help. Last night we added a special page under the admin menu called "Invite Others". It makes it easy for you to send an email invitation to join AirplaneManager.com. Please invite brokers, pt 91 and pt 135 operators to join you in the AirplaneManager.com network. To keep our prices as low as they are we need more members. The larger our memberbase is the better it is for you as well.

We hope you appreciate our efforts to maintain a powerful system at an affordable cost, and will invite others to be a part of it.

Now you can set your menu and system to 'Air Charter Operator', 'Corporate Flight Department' or 'Air Charter Broker'. Air Charter Operator is the default and keeps all options visible. Corporate Flight Department removes the quote menu and other items that are unused by PT 91 operations. Air Charter Broker removes the Flight Log menu and more. This option is set under Admin > Settings > Menu / Toolbar > Menu.

There is a similiar selection for 'Air Charter Operator', 'Corporate Flight Department' or 'Air Charter Broker' under Settings > Flight Department > Company Info. This does not affect anything, but is required for us to properly categorize your company.

We also added an option under Settings > Tripsheets called 'Include FBO Notes in Tripsheet Pilot Notes area.'

Finally, we now allow you to use the same special keywords like {Company} or {Phone} in your default email text found in Settings > Email > Default Email Text

Last night we updated the FAA user type login. We removed reports with customer/passenger and quote data from their reports page and also made sure they did not have the ability to edit time and duty logs. They no longer see the lock and edit button for flight logs.

We also added a new tripsheet setting that can be set globally and then changed per trip. Go to Admin > Settings > Tripsheets and you will see the option to "Hide Past Legs" .  This means that tripsheets and itineraries will only show legs from today into the future. If your tripsheet appears blank you probably have no future legs to show.

We have added a new passenger search page to the system.  This can be found under the Customers menu and allows you to quickly find and edit passenger profiles.  The page will also allow you to quickly delete passenger profiles if needed.

We have updated airport information and FBO data this past week.   Always remember that airport and FBO data is ever changing so if you see something change please use the "Feedback" button the airport page to send us a message.  There is not a reliable source of airport data in the world any longer!   We do our best to provide the data we have.
